Doctor profile
A fellowship-trained robotic uro-oncology leader.
He has performed complex robotic uro-oncological cases since 2014 and has completed more than 1000 robotic surgeries as console surgeon, including robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic radical cystectomy with intracorporeal diversion, robotic adrenalectomy, robotic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection and robotic VEIL. He has also trained established urologists nationwide and helped set up robotic surgery programs across India.
His practice is driven by the goal of providing high-level care for patients with urological cancers. His research-led approach reflects a belief in evidence-based treatment selection, transparent patient counseling and minimally invasive surgery whenever it is clinically appropriate.
Robotic and minimally invasive surgery
Focused on advanced da Vinci robotic procedures, laparoscopy, endourology and conventional open surgery when clinically needed.
Cancer-focused decision making
Treatment planning balances oncological control, functional outcomes, recovery speed, patient age, comorbidities and personal goals.
Research and academics
Published in national and international journals, presented research across scientific platforms and reviews peer-reviewed literature.
Training the next generation
Recognized as Program Director for one-year clinical fellowships in robotic uro-oncology through USI and the Vattikuti Foundation.
